Chef – Cold Line
About the Role
As we prepare to open the doors to Le Parc by tashas in Mouille Point, we are looking for passionate and detail-oriented Cold Line Chefs to join our opening culinary team.

As a Chef – Cold Line, you will play an important role in ensuring every dish reflects the quality, freshness and presentation that define the Le Parc experience.

Your Mission
You will prepare exceptional cold dishes by combining technical skill, consistency and attention to detail while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, organisation and food safety.
Through your craftsmanship and commitment to excellence, you will help create memorable dining experiences for every guest.
What You'll Be Doing
Food Preparation & Production
Prepare fresh salads, cold starters, side dishes and signature cold menu items according to established recipes and brand standards.
Wash, prepare, slice and portion vegetables, fruits, herbs and other fresh ingredients with precision.
Prepare dressings, sauces, dips and cold accompaniments to ensure consistency in flavour and presentation.
Ensure all cold dishes are beautifully presented and ready for service.
Maintain consistency in taste, portioning and presentation across every plate.
Monitor ingredient quality and remove any products that do not meet brand standards.
Kitchen Operations
Prepare mise en place and ensure your section is fully stocked and organised before every service.
Store ingredients correctly and maintain appropriate temperature controls at all times.
Label, rotate and date all prepared food according to company procedures.
Monitor stock levels and communicate replenishment requirements proactively.
Minimise food waste through careful planning and responsible ingredient management.
Support other kitchen sections whenever required to ensure smooth service.
Quality & Brand Standards
Maintain exceptional standards of freshness, flavour and presentation.
Ensure every dish leaving your section reflects the quality and attention to detail associated with Le Parc by tashas.
Follow recipes, portion standards and presentation guidelines consistently.
Take pride in maintaining a workstation that reflects the professionalism of the kitchen.
Teamwork & Culture
Work collaboratively with colleagues across every kitchen section.
Support and encourage fellow team members during busy service periods.
Contribute to a positive, respectful and professional kitchen culture.
Share knowledge and support the development of new team members.

Health, Safety & Compliance
Adhere to all food safety, HACCP and health regulations.
Maintain clean, organised and sanitised workstations, utensils and refrigeration areas.
Handle food safely and ensure ingredients are stored correctly to preserve freshness and quality.
Report equipment issues, maintenance requirements or safety concerns promptly.
Promote a safe, hygienic and organised working environment.
What We're Looking For
Previous experience working in a cold kitchen, salad section or professional restaurant environment.
Strong knowledge of fresh food preparation, cold kitchen techniques and presentation.
Excellent knife skills and attention to detail.
A genuine passion for quality ingredients and exceptional food presentation.
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
The ability to work efficiently and calmly in a fast-paced kitchen.
Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and HACCP practices.
A positive attitude and collaborative approach to teamwork.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
