About the Role
As we prepare to open the doors to Le Parc by tashas in Mouille Point, we are looking for talented and passionate Grill Line Chefs to join our opening culinary team.
At Le Parc, exceptional food begins with exceptional technique. Our Grill Line Chefs are responsible for preparing beautifully cooked dishes that showcase quality ingredients, precise execution and consistent presentation. Whether grilling premium proteins, preparing signature pastas or finishing seasonal accompaniments, every plate reflects the care, craftsmanship and attention to detail that define our kitchen.

Your Mission
You will deliver exceptional hot dishes by combining technical expertise, consistency and attention to detail while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, kitchen organisation and food safety.

What You'll Be Doing
Food Preparation & Production
Prepare and cook grilled dishes, premium proteins, pastas, sauces and hot menu items according to established recipes and brand standards.
Season, prepare and cook ingredients with precision, ensuring every dish is cooked to specification and presented beautifully.
Execute a range of cooking techniques, including grilling, sautéing, blanching, frying and roasting, with consistency and confidence.
Monitor cooking times, temperatures and product quality throughout service.
Taste and quality-check food before it leaves the kitchen.
Ensure every plate reflects the quality, flavour and presentation expected of Le Parc by tashas.
Kitchen Operations
Prepare mise en place and ensure your section is organised, fully stocked and service-ready.
Monitor ingredient freshness and ensure products are correctly labelled, rotated and stored.
Manage portion control to maintain consistency while minimising waste.
Safely operate and maintain grills, fryers, flat tops, stoves and other kitchen equipment.
Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance requirements promptly.
Support other kitchen sections whenever required to ensure seamless service.
Quality & Brand Standards
Maintain exceptional standards of food quality, consistency and presentation.
Ensure recipes, cooking techniques and portion sizes are followed accurately.
Take pride in every detail, from preparation and cooking to plating and cleanliness.
Contribute to a culture of excellence where every dish consistently reflects the Le Parc brand.
Teamwork & Culture
Work collaboratively with colleagues across all kitchen sections.
Support and encourage fellow team members during busy service periods.

Health, Safety & Compliance
Follow all food safety, HACCP and health regulations at all times.
Maintain clean, organised and sanitised workstations throughout every shift.
Handle food products safely and ensure ingredients are stored according to company standards.
Maintain kitchen equipment responsibly and report any faults or safety concerns immediately.
Promote a safe, hygienic and efficient working environment.
What We're Looking For
Previous experience working on a grill or hot section within a professional restaurant kitchen.
Strong knowledge of grilling techniques, cooking temperatures and hot food preparation.
Experience preparing premium proteins, pastas, sauces and hot dishes.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to consistency.
The ability to remain calm and organised in a fast-paced service environment.
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and HACCP practices.
A positive attitude, strong work ethic and collaborative approach to teamwork.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
