About the Role

As we prepare to open the doors to Le Parc by tashas in Mouille Point, we are looking for passionate and skilled Baristas to join our opening team.

Your Mission

You will deliver exceptional beverages and memorable guest experiences by combining technical expertise, genuine hospitality and a commitment to excellence.

Through consistency, teamwork and attention to detail, you will help create the welcoming atmosphere that defines Le Parc by tashas.

What You'll Be Doing

Beverage Preparation

• Prepare and serve exceptional espresso-based coffee, teas and specialty beverages to the highest brand standards.

• Craft a variety of drinks, including coffees, smoothies, shakes and selected alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and consistency.

• Ensure every beverage is beautifully presented and prepared with care.

• Monitor coffee quality, grinder calibration and espresso extraction to maintain exceptional standards.

• Prepare fresh ingredients and mise en place before every service.

• Continuously maintain product knowledge to confidently explain beverages, ingredients and flavour profiles to guests.

Guest Experience

• Welcome guests warmly and create meaningful interactions throughout their visit.

• Make thoughtful beverage recommendations based on guest preferences.

• Ensure every order is prepared accurately and delivered efficiently.

• Anticipate guest needs and contribute to a seamless dining experience.

• Maintain professionalism, warmth and genuine hospitality in every interaction.

Bar Operations

• Ensure the coffee bar is clean, organised, fully stocked and ready for service at all times.

• Monitor inventory levels and communicate stock requirements proactively.

• Restock supplies and maintain appropriate levels of ingredients, glassware and bar equipment.

• Monitor fridge temperatures and ensure ingredients are stored correctly.

• Maintain coffee machines, grinders and bar equipment in excellent working condition.

• Support continuous improvements in beverage quality and operational efficiency.

Teamwork & Development

• Work collaboratively with colleagues across Front and Back of House to deliver exceptional service.

• Support the onboarding and development of new team members.

• Share knowledge and contribute to a positive, professional working environment.

• Embody the values and culture of the Tashas Group through every interaction.

• Lead by example through reliability, professionalism and a willingness to support the wider team.

Health, Safety & Compliance

• Maintain exceptional cleanliness and hygiene throughout the bar area.

• Adhere to all food safety, hygiene and health regulations.

• Ensure ingredients are handled, stored and prepared according to company standards.

• Follow all opening, closing and cleaning procedures consistently.

• Report equipment issues or maintenance requirements promptly.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Barista within a premium café, restaurant or hospitality environment.

• Excellent knowledge of espresso preparation, milk texturing and coffee extraction.

• Experience preparing specialty beverages, smoothies, shakes and basic cocktails is advantageous.

• A genuine passion for coffee, hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistency.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• A calm and organised approach in a fast-paced environment.

• A collaborative team player with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn.

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
