About the Role
As we prepare to open the doors to Le Parc by tashas in Mouille Point, we are looking for an exceptional General Manager to lead our opening team.
Le Parc is a new chapter within the Tashas Group—bringing together refined dining, beautiful design and genuine hospitality in one of Cape Town's most iconic seaside locations. As General Manager, you will play a defining role in shaping the culture of the restaurant from day one, inspiring your team to deliver memorable experiences while driving operational excellence and commercial success.

Your Mission
You will lead the overall success of the restaurant by creating an environment where outstanding hospitality, operational excellence and commercial performance come together seamlessly.
By developing your team, maintaining exceptional standards and building meaningful relationships with guests, you will establish Le Parc as one of Cape Town's premier dining destinations.
What You'll Be Doing
Leadership & Operations
Lead the overall day-to-day operation of the restaurant, ensuring excellence across both Front and Back of House.
Inspire a culture where exceptional hospitality, professionalism and teamwork define every service.
Oversee opening and closing procedures, inventory management, maintenance and operational readiness.
Ensure brand standards, service procedures and operational policies are consistently executed.
Monitor restaurant performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, guest satisfaction and profitability.
Lead daily management briefings that align, motivate and prepare the team for exceptional service.
Make confident operational decisions that support both guest experience and business success.
People & Culture
Recruit, develop and inspire a high-performing hospitality team.
Create a workplace culture built on respect, accountability, collaboration and continuous learning.
Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring and performance feedback to support individual growth.
Identify future leaders and create opportunities for career development within the business.
Ensure effective workforce planning and staffing to support operational requirements.
Lead by example, setting the standard for professionalism, integrity and genuine hospitality.
Guest Experience
Champion a culture of personalised, intuitive and memorable guest experiences.
Lead from the floor during service, remaining visible and engaged with both guests and team members.
Handle guest feedback with empathy, professionalism and urgency.
Build strong relationships with regular guests and the local community.
Continuously identify opportunities to elevate every aspect of the dining experience.
Ensure every guest leaves with a lasting impression of exceptional hospitality.
Commercial Performance
Take ownership of the restaurant's financial performance, including sales growth, profitability and cost management.
Analyse business performance and implement strategies that optimise revenue while maintaining exceptional quality.
Manage labour, food and beverage costs through effective planning and operational discipline.
Oversee inventory management, purchasing and supplier relationships.
Ensure accurate financial reporting and sound administrative practices.
Quality, Compliance & Standards
Uphold the highest standards of food quality, beverage excellence and service delivery.
Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety regulations and all health and safety legislation.
Maintain impeccable cleanliness, organisation and presentation throughout the restaurant.
Promote a safe working environment for both guests and team members.
Ensure operational audits, administrative requirements and compliance standards are consistently achieved.
What We're Looking For
A minimum of six years' experience in a senior restaurant leadership role, preferably as a General Manager within a premium hospitality environment.
A proven ability to lead and inspire high-performing teams.
Strong commercial acumen with experience managing profitability, budgets and operational performance.
Exceptional leadership, communication and relationship-building skills.
Experience developing people through coaching, mentoring and performance management.
Excellent organisational, planning and decision-making abilities.
Confidence working in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
Strong administrative, financial and computer literacy.
A genuine passion for hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences.
