About the Role
As we prepare to open the doors to our very first tashas café in Greece, we are looking for enthusiastic and passionate Commis Chefs to join our opening culinary team.
At tashas, beautiful food is at the heart of everything we do. We believe in fresh ingredients, thoughtful preparation and consistent execution, delivered with care and attention to detail. As a Commis Chef, you will play an important role in supporting the kitchen team while developing your culinary skills in a professional and inspiring environment.
Working alongside experienced chefs and culinary leaders, you will learn the foundations of great cooking, contribute to the preparation of exceptional dishes and help create memorable dining experiences for our guests every day.
Your Mission
You will support the kitchen team in delivering exceptional food while developing your skills, knowledge and confidence as a chef.
Through dedication, curiosity and a commitment to excellence, you will help ensure every service runs smoothly and every dish reflects the quality and care that define the tashas experience.
What You'll Be Doing
Food Preparation & Production
Assist with the preparation and cooking of menu items according to established recipes and brand standards.
Support chefs across different kitchen sections during preparation and service.
Prepare ingredients, mise en place and basic food items to ensure readiness for service.
Learn and apply cooking techniques, preparation methods and presentation standards.
Assist with quality checks to ensure consistency in flavour, presentation and portioning.
Support daily production schedules and preparation plans.
Kitchen Operations
Ensure ingredients are fresh, properly stored and used within their shelf life.
Assist with opening and closing procedures in line with operational standards.
Maintain clean, organised and efficient workstations throughout service.
Support stock rotation, storage and inventory management practices.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly under guidance from senior chefs.
Contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of the kitchen.
Quality & Brand Standards
Uphold the highest standards of food quality, consistency and presentation.
Take pride in preparing food that reflects the values and standards of the tashas brand.

Report maintenance issues, equipment concerns or safety risks promptly.
What We're Looking For
Previous kitchen experience is beneficial but not essential.
A genuine passion for food, cooking and hospitality.
A strong desire to learn and develop within a professional kitchen environment.
Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
A positive attitude and willingness to support the team.
The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
