About the Role
As we prepare to open the doors to our very first tashas café in Greece, we are looking for warm, confident and engaging Hostesses to join our opening team.
At tashas, hospitality begins long before a menu is opened and continues long after a guest leaves. As a Hostess, you will be the first smile our guests see and often the last person they speak to before they leave. You will play an important role in creating a welcoming atmosphere, managing the flow of the café and ensuring every guest feels genuinely cared for from the moment they arrive.
This is a role for someone who loves people, thrives in a dynamic environment and understands that exceptional hospitality is found in the smallest details.
Your Mission
You will create memorable first impressions and ensure every guest feels welcomed, valued and looked after.
Through warmth, professionalism and attention to detail, you will help create seamless guest experiences while supporting the smooth operation of the café and upholding the standards that define the tashas brand.
What You'll Be Doing
Guest Experience & Hospitality
Welcome every guest with warmth, confidence and genuine enthusiasm.
Manage guest arrivals, seating arrangements and table allocations efficiently and thoughtfully.
Create a positive first impression that reflects the spirit and hospitality of tashas.
Engage with guests professionally and naturally, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued.
Assist guests with menu information and answer questions confidently.
Manage waitlists during busy periods and communicate wait times clearly and courteously.
Ensure guests are thanked sincerely and warmly as they depart.
Reception & Venue Flow
Coordinate guest seating to support smooth service and an exceptional dining experience.
Maintain an organised reception area that is welcoming, clean and presentation-ready at all times.
Ensure menus are clean, current and beautifully presented.
Monitor table availability and work closely with the service team to optimise guest flow.
Support the smooth transition of guests throughout their dining experience.
Assist with daily operational tasks that contribute to the success of the venue.
Teamwork & Collaboration
Work closely with managers, waiters, bartenders, baristas and kitchen teams to ensure seamless service.
Support new team members and contribute to a positive onboarding experience.
Foster a culture of teamwork, respect and collaboration.
Embody the values and hospitality philosophy of tashas in every interaction.
Participate actively in daily briefings and team communication.
Brand Standards & Quality
Uphold the service standards that define the tashas experience.
Champion our three pillars: beautiful food, stunning environments and engaging service.
Ensure the front-of-house environment remains polished, organised and welcoming throughout the day.
Maintain exceptional grooming, presentation and professionalism at all times.
Take pride in creating an atmosphere where guests feel genuinely at home.
Health, Safety & Compliance
Adhere to all local health and safety regulations and company policies.
Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
Follow food safety and hygiene procedures where applicable.
Support the team in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for both guests and colleagues.
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in hospitality, guest relations, customer service or a similar role is preferred.
A genuine passion for people and creating memorable experiences.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A warm, professional and confident presence.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
The ability to remain calm and composed in a fast-paced environment.
A positive attitude and collaborative approach to teamwork.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.
